When searching for a new vehicle, the experience can sometimes be daunting and overwhelming. However Cristal G. and Mike H. made my first car buying experience easy, straightforward, and amazing. Being a new grad and finally "adulting" by working my first real job, I finally saved up enough money to get myself a new car on my own. A huge step in growing up. Buying a new car is very much like buying a new house. It takes commitment and hard work. I've been looking for a new car for awhile and wanted to purchase one before summer hits (RIP; my old civic has a busted AC) I went to LB Honda out of all other dealerships because the other dealership we had gone to gave us the run around and kept switching salesmen on us. My uncle recommended LB Honda and told me they had the car I wanted: 2018 White CRV. I was greeted by the bubbly and friendly sales lady named Cristal & she took us for a test drive. My family owns a bakery in LB and it wasn't too far from the dealership, my uncle told me to drive to the bakery so my whole family can come out and look at the car during or test drive, it was an interesting test drive to say the least... I'm sorry Cristal LOL! After our test drive, I knew that this was the car I wanted. Cristal worked out the numbers for us to a comfortable range for the downpayment and monthly payments. We were then introduced to Mike H. The finance manager. He made the last part of our deal the easiest and he was very honest about everything. I really appreciated the time everyone took to make my first car buying experience smooth and easy. I'm so happy with my new 2018 CRV-EX! Thank you LB Honda!!
Can't say my last experience was above and beyond. About a year and a half ago I was hit 2x in the same month. Brought car to Honda to do the body work. Won't get into that because, well...it's the past. This time around, I failed my smog on my '08 Accord, and because two other mechanics could not tell me anything concrete about what had to be done, I made an appointment at Honda for a Thursday and took my car in when that rolled around. I made sure to include a laundry list of much needed, overdue checks and balances. Things like interior lights, a sunroof that no longer worked, trunk that wouldn't stay open on its own (from the accidents and was never handled properly in my last visit...but it's ok. The past). I'm not a car know-it-all, so I'm skipping past all the fine print, but I can't say I have or ever will feel as good as I did or as one can expect to feel paying $4018 for your car being serviced and repaired. If it wasn't for Michael Lesaca, I'd probably feel ripped off and taken advantage of like most times in the past when going to get car maintenance. Unless you are a girl, you won't know how it feels going to bring your car in for even the simplest of things such as an oil change. The shit you are told you need happens every time, even if the car you drive in has just 3k miles on it -oh yea "see this dirt, you need a new air filter". "No dude, take your little blower thingy and dust that off". My dad told me about that one...he'd be proud. Anyways, Michael went above and beyond every single day...from helping with the rental car, in a huge way, to explaining everything, every time, line by line. I had to bring the rental to Honda and Michael helped with the return...and gas -wouldn't take cash either. Maybe that's normal but I doubt it. He valued my time, and my willingness to get the necessary repairs done for all things related and unrelated to the failed smog test. That said, he also made sure the car was only getting what it needed right now. There were a few things I didn't need right away and he gave me options each and every time. I might add more to this later, but wanted to get this done before it fell off my list of things to do. That happened last time when I had my car here, a review was never written. But thank you Michael for helping restore my car back to where it should be.
